Welcome to the world of Aman. The year is 2436 of the Imperial Canon, 241 years into this new and yet unnamed age of the world, hoped by many to be a period of peace and rebirth following the Age of Strife. It is now 67 years since the events of the Northmark Rising, a disastrous onslaught which saw the northern empire devastated by an undead scourge. Today life has mostly found its old paces, and the Rising is but a memory one's grandfather recants at family reunions. Still, the impact of the Rising can be felt all throughout the north of Arani. With this event, the imperial administration has reasserted its control over the northern territories, and is looking to once more declare dominion over all of Arani. It is within this world and epoch that you set foot, embarking on your next adventure.
