Maakor, God of Fear and Darkness

Aspects: HOLLOW. Formerly Indulgence and Patience   A God of elvish origins.   Maakor is often portrayed as a tall looming figure with 10 eyes and wielding a shadowy glaive. They stand for those who face fear with courage and those that stir fear in others.   Maakor's glaive represents the cold emptiness of darkness and shadows, while their eyes each represent a different type of fear or phobia and the idea that one must face them to overcome them.   Maakor blesses both those who are not held back by fear and those who use fear as a tool, while shunning cowards and those with false bravado.   Maakor was once one of the 13 Pantheonic Gods, but was dethroned by the other Pantheonics after attempting to let mortals into the Heavens during the Age of Magic. They were replaced by Rhymir and locked away in a dark prison away from Ambria to be forgotten. This eventually turned Maakor HOLLOW and into the being known as the Spider God.   In the year 795AoS, after escaping their prison to challenge Rhymir for his spot among the Pantheonic Gods, Maakor was slain on the Holy Island of Aeos with the godkilling sword, Yulthaesa.
