Leandros Breaks Apart

The land of Leandros breaks apart, becoming the four-island nation of Insulam.

Leandros was a strange land that was broken into several smaller chunks due to Illia the Unnatural's use of the Myser Emerald. These segments were all separated with magical barriers and the environments and weather from one didn't affect another. This meant that thunderstorms often existed feet away from perfectly warm and sunny days without issue. However, when Velma's Avengers destroyed the Myser Emerald, the magic that held the island together was dispersed.   Without the magic there, the island began to split and several pieces of it broke apart. In an event that lasted several weeks, Leandros broke apart and split into the four islands that were eventually renamed: Hermus, Seath, Luthernwar, and Fluman.   This change of geology destroyed several cities and established territories but a few places of significance survived and were reinstated as important cities or temples. The temple of dragons was rebuilt and housed many relics from their time. The city that was once Ragheld was reformed into Wiltmarsh and the mountain range that had once housed the dwarves forces became a single, lone mountain.
