Military: Battle

The Hammer and the allies they managed to gather made an assault on O'lin's Mark.

After months of talking and planning and building, The Hammer made their way with a collection of allies and friends at their back to challenge the monstrous Polluit. He opened his gates to them and his hoard of monsters rushed out to meet them. Several large-scale battles broke out and The Hammer rushed in to make their way towards the leader of the beasts. As they reached the basement of the large structure, they found themselves before the gargantuan five-headed monster. It wasted no time and battle ensued.   The Hammer, consisting now of Darius, Julianna, Selwyn, Marcelus, and Ingatious, did all they could to battle the creature at length. They were powerful, but so too was their opponent. Darius and Ignatious took horrible blows, nearly dying there and then. However, Selwyn made a wish for Liane and Biane to save their chosen champions and the brother and sister appeared to bind the huge creature for several precious seconds. Julianna used the moment to heal their wounds and get everyone back to their feet.   Once the beast reappeared, the battle resumed. Though they were once again whole, the battle still nearly destroyed many of the Hammer. However in the end, it was Ingatious who struck the final blow, and defeated the beast, freeing Solis from its influence.
