Texte de Jaune
Texte de Jaune, not an ominous name at first glance, especially considering it is simply an embroidered pattern. The discoverer of this piece named it after the yellow color palette of the piece art - though it is inappropriate to use the word "art". He, the discoverer, believed there was a cryptic message hidden in the art itself.
And indeed there was, the downfall of Amity was predicted in Texte de Jaune, in a caption reading "Amity - 2022". Amity's fate was thus sealed in embroidery, in the piece of art depicting three people dancing, on fire.
Purpose
There is no official origin of Texte de Jaune. Most believe it was made by a conspiracy theorist, depicting the end of the world.

The original copy of this mysterious piece of embroidery is private. However, the popularity of the Texte de Jaune pattern can be found all over Amity. Restaurants and companies and cities named after the document can be found anywhere.

Background
Renowned historians from the History District strongly believe that this document was embroidered during Amity's Enlightenment period during the fourteenth century (because the popularity of "Marigold Tale" was greatest during that time).
Public Reaction
The public reacted with fear when Texte de Jaune made its way to museums. Since historians believed that Texte de Jaune was inspired by "Marigold Tale" (a popular story depicting the wold ending) and since there was a date written at the bottom, people thought it was another prediction that the world was going to end.
Legacy
Although Texte de Jaune is hundreds of years old, its impact on Amity is unmistakable. It is to Amity as the Mona Lisa is to the Western world. The pattern in this embroidery is often referred to as timeless and beautiful.
