The daughter of a minor, Eastern-Nomad clan chief, Anna was born a fighter and raider. from a young age, she rode with the Clan on raids against the outlying villages of the Eastern-kingdoms. After marrying, Anna joined her husband's Clan, before joining a Mercenary company. following the defence of the city of Ondos, Anna then signed on to an expidition to the fabled Ghost Archipelago.

Personal history

Anna was the third child, and first daughter to Jamal, leader of Clan Garrah, a lesser clan of the Eastern-deserts. Her father, had the same expectations of her as her two older brothers. She was taught to ride and fight from horseback as a young child, joining in raids on the Eastern-kingdoms when she was a young teenager. Being a lesser Clan, the Garrah numbered only in one or two hundred at any one time, She was excited when a messenger arrived with news that a meeting of the clans was being called, where all the Desert clans would congregate for several weeks at the sacred Oasis. Meeting Eastern-nomads outside her own clan was a rare occurrence, and now, as a young woman, she was hopeful she may find a husband at the gathering, and join a larger clan. at the gathering, there were many games, where Clans-folk would compete, showing off feats of strength and riding skill. Anna became a favourite among spectators for her skills in horse riding. It was this that brought her face to face with Hamish. One of the Clanswomen of Garrah, a blood-relative of Hamish, took Anna to the older man, who was greatly impressed with Anna's riding abilities. the two were married in the ending days of the meeting of the clans, and Anna left with Hamish and the Shadar clan. During the meeting of the Clans, and her first weeks with Hamish, Anna learned the other Clans were enduring harder times with skirmishes with Western kingdoms soldiers killing off many of the Clan-raiders. Anna took part in some of these skirmishes, riding side by side with Hamish, her skill on horseback allowing her and her horse to weave through the combat, unscathed, but leaving a trail of dead and wounded caravan guards behind her. Only a year had passed since they were married, that Anna and Hamish had to flee the deserts, during a skirmish with a large army from the Eastern-kingdoms, on a quest to destroy the Nomadic clans. Anna and Hamish had to flee into the Western-kingdoms, avoiding the large numbers of guards on the borders. Eventually, they arrived in a kingdom, deep in the West, where they decided to join a Mercenary company, out of need for coin and a place to stay. The leader of the company, a Heritor by the name of Ulfric Phinnius, who welcomed the two Eastern-nomads with open arms, and led them to a great many victories over several years. After the Ulfric took much of the company with him on an expedition to the ghost Archipelago, a younger Heritor, Helga Stormchild took command, leading the company to several more great victories. Eventually, the company made it's way to the City of Ondos to aid in a siege. During the battle, a huge number of the company were killed, while more were wounded. Anna herself was badly wounded with a great cut across her abdomen. if it hadn't been for the aid of the brothers and sisters of solph, the healers of Dusk and Dawn, Anna may well have perished on the battlefield. Anna saw how much her injury grieved her husband, and knew he blamed himself for not protecting her, but Anna knew there was nothing Hamish could have done to protect her in that moment. When Helga announced she was leading her own expedition to the ghost Archipelago, Hamish told Anna he wanted to go and find the fabled crystal pool, so he would be able to protect his wife. Anna saw how much it meant to her husband, agreed to to go along, to help her husband reach the pool, so that he may overcome the grief he felt from the battle.

Anna Saw Hamish killed by a Tribal Archer during an expedition in the Ghost Archipelago. She had been wounded by a Saurian Monarch, and separated from the rest of the crew. As she was about to regroup and help them attack a Tribal camp, Hamish charged in, killing one Tribal before being shot in the chest by an arrow. Anna was deeply hurt by this, knowing how much her Husband wanted to find the Crystal pool, to help him stay with her. this time it was Anna who could not help Hamish, leaving her as the last member of the Shadar Clan she knows of.
