Halfling
Halflings are derived from the Taladin after the calamity. The appearance of halfling often catches many off-guard. One of the shortest races, and cousins to Gnomes, those that would become Halflings were found by Guja. Teaching them music and sharing stories, the Taladin began to regret fleeing from battle. Guja tricked them, causing them to never fully reach the stature of a mature Taladin. When Satir found Guja and the trick that he had played on the Taladin, he sought to teach truths to the Halflings. Few listened among the Halflings, preferring the stories, rumors, and tricks of Guja. Satir took those that would listen and created the Gnomes and filled them with knowledge.
Halflings share a quiet perspective across Uinsil. These diminutive creatures were those who shied away from the conflict levied by the hordes of osgolip. The tribes of the Ashun sought refuge in the hills where they built small habitations. As the world faced a reckoning, these Ashun delighted in music and writing. Even as the flames billowed over the horizon, waters swelling over the land, winds tearing over the rending rock, none of these Ashun ventured forth to protect their land. They, instead, raised their quill and instruments to sing and chronicle the events.
