Stalwart

The airship series Stalwart is a lower-order cutter that is able to support between 20-30 crew members or passengers. While the cutter is no designed for passenger shipping, these vessels have been known to be used as leisure vehicles for the wealthy families from Mashangist, Isfa, and Aurdia. The crew itself numbers between 10-15 crew, but may be maintained by merely four. The required positions include an engineer to ensure the safe operation of the engine; the navigator (optional but recommended) to provide guidance which may double as the helmsmen; a carpenter should critical damage occur to ensure that the vessel does not plummet from the sky; and the guard who should have a sole duty to protect the ship.
The craft itself is nearly 30 yards long and supported 3 decks. One notible feature of the Stalwart series is that the craft is dirigible. The balloon that supports the craft is perpetuately excited, given the craft lift. Props on the rear of the vessel provide the forward or reverse motion. This limits the maneuverability of the vessel as well as introduces vulnerability. If the balloon is compromised, the craft cannot support itself in the air.
The Stalwart series, created by the engineers at the Aer Astri Skyport and Dockyard, is the first vessel of its kind to be ready for purchase from principalities beyond the borders of Isfa. This was due to the introduction of larger craft that rendered the Stalwart obsolete, though the Stalwart represents an option never conceived for many territories.
