Wayman Docken

A shabby building just on the edge of the Jadu'ket. First erected at the close of the War of Mashangist to support those returning from the campaigns. This triage building was supplied by those who had found fame and fortune during the war to support those who had suffered. As time went on, the building became more frequented by those needy individuals that found themselves unable to provide for themselves as the wealthy moved on with their lives. Unable to bear closing, the Worn Hands Upholder continue to maintain the building and the services they provide.   While the building is unimpressive at first glance, it's less impressive at its second. The Jadu'ket is notorious for its gradual decay into disrepair. Suspcious people lounge in shaded alleys and the lost find refuge in the delapidated homes. The Wayman Docken continues to serve those in need while still near to the relative safety of the border to central Isfa. For those passersby, it represents the tragedy beyond and discourages venturing into the forgotten neighborhoods of soldiers lost to war.   The building itself is an old wooden construction that had been hastily erected. The original, singular room structure was designed specifically for distribution. However, as the years went on, the building gradually expanded to include other large rooms where people will come and sleep on the floor in a secure place. While security is generally tight within Isfa, the Jadu-ket remains an area of ill-repute where the clergy have elected to keep a watchful discerning eye. Within this scope, the Wayman Docken is considered the safest place in the Jadu-ket. Members of the Worn Hands Upholder are also protected within the Jadu-ket for the service they provide within the Wayman Docken.   The insignia of the Wayman Docken is a wooden shield plaque, with a central, open hand with two sheaves in the palm.
