(850) In 854 he married a lowborn with much shock from the nobility, but with approval from the warrior caste as his new wife was the daughter of a well known warrior who had recently died defending the former queen from an assassination attempt.   His wife (Edadora) is said to have truly been his only love in life, and she gave him 6 children   He organized a large scale invasion of Otrenzia to ensure a better trade route along the Soifoix river, but her daughter's rape committed by the Otrenzian prince enraged Raìf to the point of anticipating the invasion.   The invasion ultimately failed, but he proved the world that Andonia wasn't a secondary power, and could hold Odria by itself
