An Old World

EVERYTHING IS BEING MOVED

 

I have changed a lot of things about this world recently and because I wasn't very good at organising things early on, the best way that I can change things is to start from scatch. The new world will be called Órlekanú while this will now be called "An Old World"

  Órlekanú is the name given to the all of the known kingdoms collectively. It is a region consisting of Dagdír and Gaenel on the mainland, Kíathandí across the Rasarth Sea and the Northern Territories, known as Erala Rúa by those who live there. Within Órlekanú are others besides the three kingdoms who hold power, the Mínakú or Dragon Riders.   The world is inhabited by two intelligent species, humans and dragons. There are four sub-species of dragon, each possessing a different elemental magic of either fire, ice, earth or air. Dragons and humans share an ancient bond which ties them together as one mind, a gift given to them by the nine gods.   Magic is an innate part of nature. However, not all possess the ability to use it. Some are predjudiced against those who can use it, claiming they are evil and cursed, while some see it as a gift from the gods.   The Órlekanú is out of balance as the Cult of Tarvik seek to free their god from his imprisonment, bringing about the end of the world as we know it. The three kingdoms are on the brink of war and only a few chosen as champions of the gods have the power to save it.
