The Spring Queen, Ruler of Celulinde, Priestess of the East, Flower of the Huldra. Blathanna lives closest of all the Huldra Queens to Gleann Chroi, the Heart of the Valley.
Blathanna’s hair is bright as dawn, and there are some who whisper that she was born of huldra and alfar blood. Whatever the truth, she was already a font of magical power and inspiring beauty before she took on the Mantle of Spring.
Through the bloodshed of the War of the Sun, Blathanna has remained hopeful, for spring is the season of new life. Perhaps this optimism blinds her from the machinations of those around her, or perhaps it is a mask that makes her rivals underestimate her.

Personal history

Before she became the Spring Queen, Blathanna roamed the Caonach Vale and the Lands of Fairy alike. On these journeys she was poisoned by a wicked unseelie fairy and nearly perished. At that exact moment, the Mantle of Spring descended upon her, and she was reinvigorated by the spirits of Caonach.
Blathanna has reigned in Celulinde ever since. She has born seven children.
