Gortul

Spiritually inspired by the twisting canyons and intricate natural caves of their mountain homes, the Gortul peoples are the origin of the Labyrinth meditation used in The Grove at Ioth Academy. They deeply resonate with stone pathways and the subterranean. The Gortul life is to know the two ways: the winding way that leads through mystery to wisdom, and the charging way that leads directly to your goal. Both are useful in life, in love, in war and in peace.
Gortul people live largely underground or in rocky locations, descending down to lowlands to farm and derive what they need to live.
