Megaeni

In all nine of the other tribes, the great dragon Megaeni was left with nothing but the Great Northern Wilds or the fens and bogs just south, and bitterly chose the bogs. To hear the Megaeni tell the tale, the Great Black Dragon refused to accept the charity of the other Great Dragons, and picked a place where their people could grow strong and find hidden bounty the other tribes would be too arrogant to pursue.
Thus, the virtue espoused by the black dragon tribe is determination. They find opportunity in places others already stopped looking, build homes in places nobody else can survive, and withstand enemies from which others would flee.
