Rednop Cinderye

One would think that the Master of Divination at Ioth Academy would foster an air of mystery. On the contrary, Rednop Cinderye is a gregarious jokester, easy to laugh, fond of debate, ready with a quip or sly remark to cut the tension in the most somber of meetings.
An Ember Dwarf from the volcanic mountains of the distant east, Rednop has mahogany skin, a beard that glistens with copper lustre, long braided hair and deep orange eyes. Rings glisten on his every finger, golden earrings beset with red stones dangle from his ears, necklaces twist around him of many different metals. He wears his white robes of mastery over a colorful tunic adorned with mysterious symbols that connect him to the occult traditions of his people.
When Rednop performs his crucial function as the Master Diviner, however, his demeanor changes entirely. Instead of wizardry, he practices a ritual art discovered oceans away, on the monastery island of Irolek, reading cards to determine the flows of fate. This is a solemn rite that brooks no interruption or frivolity, and Rednop takes his duties seriously.
He also possess an orb, but rarely gives it much thought.
