Personal history

Sildarasin...in the Draconic tounge it literally translates to half dragon, half elf.   Born of an unusual union between Dragonborn and Elf, Velo Dionus was quickly ostracized by both communities. After a relatively uneventful childhood, Velo struck out on his own. He traveled far and wide, gathering bits of local gossip, transcribing maps, picking up tricks of the trade from charlatans and artisans alike.   He eventually settled down as an Apprentice to a scribe who worked to preserve ancient manuscripts. Velo was taken with the practice at once, and spent the next fifteen years studying under the scholar. After the Scholar's death, greed took hold of him. He gathered up all of the manuscripts and tomes, and to his horror found that many of them were in such ancient obscure languages that he would never be able to comprehend them.   Stuck in a spiral of grief, fear, and greed Velo called out to the darkness...and something answered. The old black-bound spellbook that he'd been using to store what little magic he could muster spoke to him; a tongue made of paper curling around strangely sharp looking oragami fangs. The entity introduced itself as Sol, and offered knowledge beyond measure. Velo sought what the book required in kind, and received only silence. He assented and forged an Eldritch Pact with the creature.

Gender Identity

Velo considers himself to be male.

Sexuality

Velo is not attracted to what is socially considered 'beautiful'. He would feel an attraction to anyone with a keen mind, and a grasp of knowledge both scholarly and mundane.   He is often infatuated by Artisans, Experts, Scholar's, Philosophers, Warriors and Sages, regardless of their gender or race.

Education

Although not formally educated, Velo has gleaned a vast amount of knowledge from his time wandering the country, and working as a scribe.

Employment

Velo has spent almost half of his life in the employ of a Scribe's Guild. He is familiar with their processes, and inner workings.

Mental Trauma

(Because I'm using a special font to write the entries to add a little intrigue, you'll need to open the word document in my Google Drive in order to read them. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I could not get World Anvil to read the characters.)   https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1UseRP2VNjJP96DhtH0-2lInzd9cYRXwJ?usp=sharing
