Sigtuna
Sigtuna is a small village in the lower inland taiga. This village is remote with few travelers making the trek. Sigtuna is home to generational residents, explorers, and outcasts seeking to start over. Life in these lands is brutal. The people here have learned to scrape every resource out of the land and survive the harsh climate.
The town was originally the orcish outpost of Zubegzul when it was founded in 996 during the orcish siege of Uhilvadne (now Hoosvang Barrow). Alliance forces eventually secured the region in 1493 and drove out the orcs from the town and the nearby temple.
A poorly maintained farming road links the village to the larger trade routes. It's common to find broken-down, rotting carts on the roadside.
