Arrival of the Fey

The ‌yesreni‌ lived among themselves for two million years, from the creation of the giants until about 800,000 years ago - when a rift opened to another world.
No one knows where the rift to the Feywild appeared, or how long it stayed open, but at that time the fey began to appear on Ancathra. A bewildering variety of fey creatures wandered or migrated through the passage and spread throughout the world. Among other things, they brought with them the gods of the fey. Because of the age and number of fey in Cernoa , many assume the rift opened there. Some believe that it still exists in some form. It's asssumed that the eight known archfey of Cernoa would be more than powerful enough to control such a thing. However, this is just s rumor.
