Ausrani

All humanoids are descended from some combination of elven, human, and orc slaves brought to this world hundreds of thousands of years ago by the Five Dragon Emperors. After Mother Ausra led the slaves to freedom, they spread out across the world in nomadic caravans. As millennia passed, new species evolved from the original three humanoid types: goblins, halflings, and other mixed-race species of all kinds. All humanoids descended from humans, elves or orcs still often think of themselves as ausrani after Mother Ausra.
