Destroy Memory

Effect

You attempt to obliterate a creature's memory. One creature that you can see within range must make a Charisma saving throw. If you are fighting the creature, it has Advantage on the saving throw. On a successful save, the creature's memories are unaffected and they take 1d6 of psychic damage.   On a failed save, the creature becomes Incapacitated for one round and is unaware of its surroundings. If it takes any damage or is targeted by another spell before the start of your next turn, this spell ends, and the creature's memories are unaffected.   While this spell is in effect, you can destroy one memory that the target experienced in the past 24 hours and that lasted no longer than 10 minutes. A Wish or Greater Restoration spell will restore the creature's memories.

Side/Secondary Effects

At Higher Levels. If you cast this spell using a spell slot of 7th level or higher, you can destroy a creature's memory that happened up to 7 days ago (7th level), 30 days ago (8th level), or up to 25 years ago (9th level).
