Orcs

Orcs are among the oldest races on Eden, but they have been historically pushed from their homes by the younger races as they expand. They are among the least populous of the "dominant" races on Eden, partially due to their lifestyle and partially due to low fertility.
Many orcish cultures are now nomadic in nature, with a handful of strongly fortified strongholds that are supplied and tribes that drive, herd, or hunt beasts, or travel to and from great forest or plains gardens.

Genetics and Reproduction

Orc fertility has degraded for unknown reasons over time. Their population hasn't declined too much, as what pregnancies actually happen are usually healthy, and orcs usually have multiple births.

Growth Rate & Stages

Orcs mature fairly slowly. As children and adolescents, they are extremely small and have voracious appetites. They have several growth spurts in adolescence that don't cease until they're about 50 years old. They live for about 200 years.

Darkvision. You have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
Feline Agility. When falling, make a Dexterity save with advantage. On a success, you don't fall prone unless you are unconscious on impact, and can subtract any remaining hit dice from the fall damage total.
Herder. This is an optional feature. If you were raised in a relevant orcish culture, you gain proficiency in the Animal Handling skill.

Languages. You speak the language of your culture, which is usually Orcish.
