Regrown

Many who are healed by the Abbot do not walk away untouched. Due to the Abbot's corrupted nature, the organs and limbs that are regained by his healing often come back wrong. Many times, they are replaced by animal parts. If it an organ that is replaced, the affected person often dies. If they survive, the Regrowth spreads and random body parts mutate into animal parts. Occasionally (very occasionally), these new parts will also come with powerful magical abilities.
