Branrim Goldeneyes (a.k.a. The Hero)

Branrim had a special birth in the capital city of Endarlon: he was blessed by Berronar Truesilver herself. As a result, he lived an easy and relatively normal life until he was personally chosen and trained by the legendary paladin, Kirfag Brightheart. Branrim had a bright destiny, and it was Kirfag's duty to ensure Branrim was ready for it. Branrim was also unknowingly Kirfag's intended successor. When giants ravaged the capital city, Kirfag led Branrim and a group of dwarven paladins to neutralize them. All but Kirfag and Branrim were left standing against the giant leader, Crebos. Crebos easily fought them. He pushed Kirfag away while he disarmed and pinned Branrim to the ground. Crebos prepared to deliver the killing blow in front of Branrim's mentor. Out of magic and other options, Kirfag offered his life to the Berronar Truesilver to save Branrim. The goddess accepted. A blinding light emerged from Kirfag, and it disintegrated Crebos. The light then disappeared along with Kirfag. Branrim searched for Kirfag's body to no avail, so he presumed him dead. Unbeknownst to him, he may see Kirfag again when the time is right. After Crebos died, the rest of his giant army fled, and the dwarves collected their dead. Branrim mourned the loss of his great friend and mentor, but that didn't stop him from having nightmares of what he could've done to prevent his mentor's "death". Branrim was honored as a hero in his city, but he wanted to honor his mentor's goal and face his destiny. He went out to explore the world hoping that he could better understand what his destiny is. During his travels, he encounters and saves Zhalwick Deeprock. Together, they joined up with a band of adventurers.

A dwarf selected by the paladin order, Branrim seeks to uphold truth and safety. He's known as a hero in his society. He is currently a part of a group of adventurers.
