Your Inner Child Series: World Mythology of Ancient Power is a Fantasy setting with historical context of Light and Dark and also with Magic. The World of Ancient Power goes thousands of years (or trine if you like The Dark Crystal terminology). This world is as ancient as Humankind.   Humankind....   Not sure we should talk about them. They are historically both Light and Dark. Although most of them try being of Light, many of them go to Darkness. These are mortal beings. They are here to learn. But do they truy learn? The Legendary Guardians of Childhood have feelings they won't share although all seem to agree that mortals haven't learned from their own history.  

Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

  This quote, as right as it is, truly is what each Guardian wishes would come true. But they haven't yet. Maybe they will.   As one Guardian says, "I have lived through history. Always the same things. Death. Wars. Destruction. Governments as tyrants. Starvation. Families torn apart. Conflicts within realms. Alas, we try. We spread Hope, Love, and the message that all should work togther."   But The Spirit of Ancient Power has now given the Guardians a way. Behold, The Prophecy of Power! It now says a future person shall be the Chosen One, one born of magc. Maybe Humanity will listen to him. Unless he takes extreme measures. No one knows!   Genre: Fantasy Themes: Overcoming personal trauma (including death of close family and friends), Love, Hope, Faith in self   We are on Earth (but like an Alternate History Version post-2019) following The Chosen One. Two worlds separated but still relying on each other.
