Ancora

Less than a year ago, the remaining magic users of Earth narrowly escaped a devastating plague by transporting themselves to a new land. The beautiful, untouched forests they found reminded them of a more ideal version of home. Better yet, there was more magic available here than on Earth. The witches and wizards quickly settled in and built the small town of Arx with survival in mind, under the impression that this new planet had no other sentient life.   They were wrong.   The Fauns were shocked to find a small settlement of a legendary species deep within a forgotten forest. As the news rippled through Ancora, the other groups wanted to witness the humans for themselves - each for their own reasons. Everyone had thought that true humans and their magical abilities were either a myth or long extinct.   They were wrong, too.   The six dragon gods had long ruled Ancora in harmony, manipulating or threatening the lesser species into doing their bidding. Their strength, knowledge, and immortality made them the unquestionable leaders of Ancora. For thousands of years, they thought that they had nothing to fear.   Were they wrong as well?
