Aarakocra

Living in Kyrr, aarakocra are noble creatures. Native to the now-desolate forests that surrounded Kyrrix, when it was turned into the Black Sands Desert they took to roost in the floating ruins of the city, repairing and transforming it into the city it is now. Many live in the High Aerie and hold a special connection to the Monarch.
Oftentimes, aarakocra adventurers are emissaries sent from Kyrr to make a trade arrangement with another nation, or fledgling nobles sent out by their family to learn about the other nations. Or, they are simply seized by curiosity to explore the rest of the world.
