Dragonborn

Dragonborn, while rare, can be found in every city across the continent. Dragonborn often stick to the extremes of altitude, choosing to either live along the coast or high in the mountains, with few opting for middling lands. Warmer-scaled dragonborn trend towards milder climates like the Rose Protectorate, Illemnor, and the Aurelian Steppes. Colder-inclined dragonborn can be found in communities along the nothern coast and in the Red Mountains.
All dragonborn can trace their lineage back to one of the Oathbringers; great immortal dragons sent by the Monarch to teach Mortals the ways of law, of right and wrong. Metalic-scaled dragonborn find their ancestor with the Sovereign, a gold dragon; chromatic dragonborn share heritage with the Vagabond, a green dragon; and all others come from the Speaker, a mercurial dragon.
