Ember Carthelian

The youngest member of the Carthelian family; before his transformation, he would have been heir to the estate. However, after Ember turned to dark, cursed secrets in the hopes of saving his house, he drank too deeply too quickly of the wells of forbidden knowledge and was transformed into a nothik; a creature cursed with madness by the Archivist, tormented by knowledge that is locked just outside their grasp.
