Genasi

It is said that at the beginning of time, genasi sprung from the primordial elements that the gods wove together to create the world. Some believe that that remains the place all genasi come into the world from; they leap into existence fully formed when a great arcane confluence comes into contact with a breathtaking natural phenomenon, like a wildfire, earthquake, tornado, or tsunami.
Lacking a better explanation for their birth, most subspecies of genasi finds a place in the world suitable for their elemental inclination. Earth genasi roam the dusty sands around the Barrier Peaks, fire genasi work the forges of the Hollow Mountain. Water genasi patrol the canals of Helorix or dance with the fish beneath the waves of the Thunderer's Coast and air genasi are one of the few non-avian species able to make their homes in Kyrr, a great floating city.
