The Omniscient Dawn

Three centuries ago, an order of mages within the Fulminarian Empire created a weapon too volatile to be fully controlled. On an island off the southern shores of the Empire, they worked their magics to tap into a source of magic deep within the bowels of Andali. Some say that they had tunneled the closest to the core that anyone had ever reached and run into a magic that protected the source of the Call and was more powerful than anything ever captured, something that would even keep the Call in check. They harnessed this Darkness, as it was dubbed, and unleashed it only once upon the rest of the world. When they put it to use in the Gloamwood, it spiraled out of their control, wreaking havoc and desecrating the southern portion of the Gloamwood. The Darkness roved throughout the rest of the world, leaving the Dark Blight in its wake, until it returned to the source of its creations, the Forbidden Citadel, and was contained by the Wanderer's magic.

After this event, it was universally agreed that an incredibly heinous war crime had been committed. During this time of war, all of the nations came together to condemn the actions of Forbidden Order, condemning them to a life in immortal damnation. They came together and banished the Forbidden Order form the Mortal Plane and from forming any practices or orders of magic in the future.
