'Shelled Stagecoach'
Firadas Prairie, 'The Shelled Stagecoach' is relatively heavily fortified and is used to transport folk and their luggage between the many settlements dotted throughout the prairie. With how difficult it is to detect potentially dangerous creatures through the tall grass 'The Shelled Stagecoach' has been credited with saving many lives since it's invention and connecting settlements.
Typically only the middle class will ride in a 'Shelled Stagecoach', with nobility preferring private coaches and the poor being unable to afford a seat in one. Instead they will travel on foot, sticking as close as they can to the vehicle so they can dive underneath if danger appears. Merchants typically have their own wagons, and will choose to drive their own to ensure it's contents stay safe.
A very common coach used in the Propulsion
The weakest aspect of this vehicle, most are typically pulled by a team of horses, which comes with the added danger of attracting hungry predators. There have been recent attempts to use other beasts that would be less vulnerable to such threats, with certain Domesticated Drakes and Prairie Elephants proving worthwhile.
Weapons & Armament
Several guards will often ride on top of the vehicle being on the lookout for any potential danger.
Armor and defense
Much of this vehicle is covered in metal plates and spikes to discourage creatures from trying to break inside. It is also rare for a 'Shelled Stagecoach' to be traveling the roads alone, and is instead part of a larger caravan that includes guards, carriages with nobles, merchants with wagons of goods, guard animals, and more.
Communication Tools & Systems
When out in the prairie 'The Shelled Stagecoach' is basically cut off from everyone that isn't in the caravan with them. Guards will typically use hand signals to communicate to those in other wagons to limit excess noise.
