'United Battle'

Andraous (Discontinued)    Major Events      'United Battle'

The 'United Battle' saw the three major Elven, Dwarven, and Human armies, as well as several smaller groups, join forces to push back the rogue army and take control of the 'Rogue Human Kingdom', ending the 'Divided War'.

The Conflict

Prelude

When the rogue human king set about trying to conquer the entirety of Tamerea, he went to war with every non-human folk and human rebels. While there have been wars in the past, none had ever reached the magnitude that this war did.

Battlefield

This final battle took place throughout the 'Rogue Human Kingdom', as the 'United Army' pushed the enemy army deeper into the city as a group of heroes confronted and killed the king. The Human and Elven armies attacked the city from opposite sides, while the Dwarven army took the sewers to attack the city from within.

Outcome

With the king dead, the enemy army surrendered, and the city was conquered.

Aftermath

With the war over, The Unitied Council of Tamerea was formed to promote peace amongst the folk of Tamerea, which still holds immense power to this day.
The battle helped the majority of the Elven, Dwarven and Human kingdoms go to eventually create treaties with each other, opening the way for trade.

Historical Significance

'The United Battle' is credited with being one of first battles to widely use magic in combat. This would change warfare on Tamerea forever.

In Literature

There is a wide selection of literature from during the time of the battle, and the years afterwards. Many writings explore the cooperation between the many folk to the use of magic in the battle.
