These massive sea turtles have a narrow head and hooked beak.

Defense While their shell provides most of their defense, they are capable of delivering a powerful bite.

Genetics and Reproduction

They must come to shore to lay their eggs, and will bury them in the sand. Afterwards they will return to the sea, and the eggs will be left unattended.

Native to warm and temperate seas.
