Dragon Turtle
Basic Information
Anatomy
Legends often claim that this beast was born from an affair between a dragon and a sea turtle. One of the largest species of turtle, they have a wide shell will jagged protrusions along the back edge. They have a long neck, strong jaws, and a long, flattened tail. Their flippers has talons near the tip.
Ecology and Habitats
Young are native to large rivers, while the adults are found in the seas. Adults are very territorial, claiming vast regions of the sea.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Though Dragon Turtles are technically omnivores, their favorite food include tuna, sturgeons, and sharks. When hunting is poor, they have been known to eat seaweed.
Behaviour
While their size alone protects them from all but the biggest and most desperate of creatures, they are also able to exhale steam as a breath attack.

Uses, Products & Exploitation
Many coastal communities have a deep respect for these creatures, with some even making offerings to appease them.
Typically they will leave boats alone, but they have been known to capsize boats that harass or harm them. Bigger ships can be seen as rivals.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
A Dragon Turtle's shell color can be highly variable, ranging from a dull brown, rust red, deep blue-green, etc. For the rest of their body, their upperside is agua-green in color, underside is silvery, and many have gold streaks throughout.
