Emberson's Drake Cane
"This cane has been passed down in the family since Sir Emberson III helped found Drakeden and tamed the first drake. Today it is being passed down to you. May you continue the Emberson Family legacy and make this family proud." ~The old head of the Emberson family passing the cane on to the new head of the family.
History
When Sir Emberson III began his business venture of raising and breeding Domestic Drakes he wanted it to be known that he was the to go guy for everything drake. To do this, one of the items he had created was a cane with a juvenile drake skull for the handle. There is some debate over whether or not he used the skull from an individual that passed away naturally, or from one of the young of his own drakes.
The 'Grass Stalkers' were furious when they discovered what Emberson did to one of their sacred beasts, and made several attempts to steal or destroy the item. However they were foiled every time.
Since Sir Emberson's III passing, the cane has been passed down from every head of family after him.
Significance
For the Emberson Family the cane represents their family and their connection to Domesticated Drakes.
For the 'Grass Stalkers' the cane is a vile creation that is anaffront to their sacred animal, and needs to be destroyed at all costs.
