Their back limbs and feet are long, and are used to grasp prey and perch on branches. When perching their wings rest against their body.

Biological Traits
Magic
There are some rumors on whether or not they are capable of using magic.
Movement
They have similar flying styles to hummingbirds, being able to hover, and fly backwards while beating their wings very rapidly.
Genetics and Reproduction
Female feydragons pick their mates based on the brightness of their wing colors, with the more brightly colored males being more desirable. Once a female chooses a male, they will mate while flying.
Before it is time to lay her eggs, the female will build a nest in trees or rocky overhangs. Barns and under the eaves of roofs are also common spots for a female to build her nest. She will line the nest with shiny objects.
Large clutches of pea-sized eggs are then laid. Few of these eggs will survive to adulthood.
Ecology and Habitats
Found in many habitats in temperate and tropical regions. They have proven to be rather adaptable when it comes to near by settlements, and often visits gardens. Most are diurnal, though some are crepuscular.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Mostly preys on insects, though bigger species may go after small birds.
Biological Cycle
Many species are known to migrate.
