Traveling Carnival Caravan of Magical and Mysterious Oddities
Typically it travels in a loop through several major cities, roughly arriving at the same time each year. Once they arrive, they will travel straight through the heart of the city as a way of announcing their arrival by passing out fliers and giving the civilians a taste of what their performances entail. Afterwards they will set up shop just outside the city, and will stay for up to two weeks before traveling to the next town. A few days before they leave their current town a messenger will be sent ahead to the next town to alert authorities that they will be arriving soon.
The caravan consists of several different wagons consisting of the owner's wagon, several housing wagons for the performers, many caged wagons to hold various creatures, many supply wagons, and at least two defensive wagons. No two wagons are exactly alike, and were custom built for their specific roles. All wagons however, are covered in bright paints and fabrics to make them stand out.
The lead wagon is the owner's personal wagon, and is pulled by four unicorns, while the rest are mainly pulled by horses. The name of the carnival is painted in big, bright letters on the sides.
The caged wagons contain various enclosures that contain rare and exotic creatures, with some wagons dedicated to a single creature. A few popular creatures on these wagons include young Dragons ,Merfolk , and that short lived Troll exhibit.
Every child looks forward to the day the Traveling Carnival Caravan of Magical and Mysterious Oddities returns to their city. This carnival brings wonder and joy to places that often need a break from the struggles of daily life and the horrors of reality. Some of the performances and exhibits include exotic creatures, acrobatics, magic displays, plays, and dancing.
