The black markets of Nightshire
Once a proud contender to become capital of Andron, now the birthplace of poverty and crime. The black markets f nightshire are notorious for three things. 1. Their location is only known to those who are parts of thieves guilds and gangs. 2. You can buy nearly everything you can imagine for the right price. 3. you don't want to wander the market alone.
Demographics
Nightshire is mainly known for it's crime problems. The city is a breeding grounds for all types of thugs, thieves and shady businesfolks. The rest of the population is relatively poor. Those who accuire wealth soon move away from Nightshire to avoid the narrow dark streets and shady figures.

Nightshire has a tall stone wall, built in its haydays. Around the cty there is a moat. it is said the oat is used as method of interrogation by the guards and also by scorned maidens who discovered their newly wed husband was a charlatan who stole her savings. There is a public square with gallows, they are used frequently and the Stweard lives in a small reinforced house next to the guard barracks. The barracks are raised and have arrow slits, directing outside of the wall. A few newer arrow slits have been carved into the stone after the barracks were completed. these slits are aimed at the streets inside the walls.
Industry & Trade
Many inhabitants turn to crime, be it organised or of opertunity. others still try to keep a decent shop and some shopkeepers double as fence. Nightshire holds many entertainers, Bards, writers, adventerous folk, highwaymen and even a few jesters, all looking for opertunity or inspiration or both. The poor of Nightshire consists of farmers, woodworkers, builders, clerics and, handworkers. They pay the city twice. Once in taxes and once in stolen property.
Infrastructure
The infamous black markets of Nightshire could be compared to pop-up tents and stalls. here one day and gone the next, only to re-appear a few blocks down the street again. Each and every tent or stall is lightweight and can be folded in mere seconds should law enforcements get wind of the vendors.
It is said some ventors use pulley systems to suspend their stalls and wares up in balconies of taller apartment complexes. Streets are narrow and high and a few more coild of rope and some cloth would not seem out of place amongst the people haning out their laundery.
Other thieves sweay by the sewers and canals, claiming tunnels have been dug underneath the city out through the city walls in order to enable a quick escape.
History
Once a large trade hub, but then struck by misfortune, disease and the allocation of the biggest harbour and military force. Nightshire was left overpopulated, crowded and with empty state coffers.
