Lolth
Lolth, also called the Spider Queen and the Queen of the Demonweb Pits, is the chaotic evil god of shadow, lies, and spiders and the patron of the drow. Scheming and treachery are her commands, and her clerics are a constant force of disruption in the otherwise stable society of evil drow.
Lolth fought alongside her sister Ellistraee during the Dawn War. After Corellon was struck down by an injured Gruumsh, Lolth and Ellistraee interposed themselves between the two and forced Gruumsh to retreat. Lolth lied to Gruumsh directing his destruction against the primordials once again. Together Ellistraee and Lolth helped the elves defend their feywild home and was shown favor by Corellon. Now close to Corellon, Lolth grew jealous of the adoration Corellon recieved for giving mortals arcane magic. She planned to slay Corellon and was banished for her attempts to do so. She changed into a vicous Drider and escaped Corellon's wrath. She took her followers into the curse with her while she fled to the Underdark. Ellistraee out of concern followed after her sister turning into a drow herself. When she understood Lolth's plot against Corellon, Ellistraee vowed to free those aflicted by Lolth's banishment. Lolth resented her sister and swore to kill Ellistraee.
During the War of Winter Lolth and Torog trapped and trapped and twisted the dwarves of Moradin into Duergar. She sent them back alongside her drow to beseige the underground kingdoms of the dwarves. Moradin hated Lolth for what she did and waged a war against her until both were driven from the material plane by the Primal Mythal. Lolth additionally had many dealing with Asmodeus during the War of Winter and giving him insight into the neverending Blood War from within the Abyss.
After the Primal Mythal, Lolth watched as her drow grew without her. Enraged by such sights, she forged a communion with other Evil gods to influence mortals and set them back on the path of domination.

Lolth teaches her followers:
- Fear is as strong as steel, while love and respect are soft and useless
- Convert or destroy nonbeliever. Weed out the weak and the rebellious. Destroy impugners of the faith.
- Revere arachnids of all kinds; those who kill or mistreat a spider must die.
