Moradin

Moradin is the lawful good deity of creation and patron of artisans, especially miners and smiths. He carved the mountains from primordial earth and is the guardian and protector of the hearth and the family. Dwarves from all walks of life follow him. He and Onatar were very close. Moradin worked at Onatar's forge day and night sculping the dwarves in the days before the Dawn War.   But once the Dawn War began, He and Onatar worked together crafting weapons and Armor to combat the primordials. Moradin crafted many of the tools to banish and subdue the primordials. In the War of Winter Moradin sent dwaves deep into the earth to retrieve the remains of a primordial. Torog and Lolth captured and twisted these dwarves with lies, torture, and deception. She sent these Dwarves now Duergar back against Moradin for leaving them to be tortured. Moradin bereft with grief, waged an all out war against the forces of Lolth and Torog.   When Moradin was forced back to Mount Celestia because of the Primal Mythal, He was saddened seeing the dwarves become more reclusive, traditionalist, and Xenophobic. He encourged the dwarves to reclaim their old kingdoms and fight to save those Duergar brothers and sisters who were lost to Lolth's influence.
