Angotra

Long ago, the world was filled with Elves, Dwarves, and Humans, but their peace was splintered by the sudden assault of Aranxes the Wight-King. The great kingdom of Losgard was shattered before the united peoples and their paladin champions managed to beat him back. At least, that's what the stories say.   It was thousands of years ago, after all, and historians find the sources questionable while natural philosophers deride the possibility of many events from the story. Dwarves and Elves aren't real. There's no proof of them nor any way they could survive in such a way, and "magic" is the tool of charlatans and deceivers.   At least, so they said until a plague came on a north wind that no medicine could cure and no natural philosopher could find a cause for.
