The Court of Flowers is the Royal District of Rosecourt, located at the Headwaters of the Rose River. It is from here that the Thornheart Family, a lineage of captivating Half-Elves, rules the nation. They are known for their mesmerizing eyes, reminiscent of the seductive Thornheart Rose, a rare and alluring flower. The Thornheart Family combines grace, diplomacy, and steely resolve, protecting their interests with cunning and ruthlessness, much like the concealed thorns of the Thornheart Rose. They excel in combat and the art of manipulation, always staying one step ahead of their adversaries. This region is bordered by the Petaled Peaks, Flowered Fields, Lavender Lowlands, and the Hollowthorn Highlands.
The Crimson Coast, a unique and captivating Petalarchy, is ruled by the Vesperbloom Family, who hold the title of Petalarch. Separated from the rest of the kingdom by the imposing Petaled Peaks, the Crimson Coast is known for its lush tropical rainforests, rocky coastline, and the mesmerizing Crimson Vesperbloom, a flower that guides sailors through treacherous waters but conceals a deadly secret. The Vesperbloom Family embodies a dual nature of brightness and danger, excelling in seafaring and politics. This region connects with the Wildflower Woodlands to the north and is bordered by the Petaled Peaks, Flowered Fields, and the Court of Flowers.
The Petaled Peaks, a realm of mystique and enchantment, is ruled by the Phantombell Family. These Dwarves are deeply connected to the Phantombell Flower which thrives in the flower-covered peaks. Characterized by their golden-hued hair and composed exteriors, the Phantombell Dwarves are known for their reliability and unwavering determination, but they teeter on the precipice between genius and madness. The Phantombell, an ethereal and ghostly flower, is associated with otherworldly dimensions and the hidden wonders of the Petaled Peaks. The region borders the Crimson Coast, Wildflower Woodlands, Flowered Fields, and the Court of Flowers.
The Wildflower Woodlands, a realm of natural beauty and dark enchantment, is ruled by the Soulthistle Family, a lineage of Half-orcs who practice necromancy openly. They reject deceit and are unwavering in their commitment to honesty. The Soulthistle Flower, with its silver sheen and ethereal luminescence, serves as a conduit between life and death, reflecting the family's nature. Legends speak of its dark enchantment and its allure to practitioners of necromancy. This Petalarchy is bordered by the Crimson Coast, Petaled Peaks, Flowered Fields, Lavender Lowlands, and the Hollowthorn Highlands.
The Flowered Fields, the central region of Rosecourt, is under the control of the Emberbloom Family, made up of Fire Genasi. They are renowned for their expertise in agriculture and land stewardship, nurturing a thriving agricultural abundance. The Emberbloom, with its radiant and fiery appearance, paints the landscape with vibrant hues, symbolizing the heart of the kingdom's prosperity. The Emberbloom Family embodies warmth, resilience, and fiery determination. The region borders the Wildflower Woodlands, Lavender Lowlands, Court of Flowers, and the Petaled Peaks.
The Lavender Lowlands, characterized by swamps and marshlands along the Rose River, is ruled by the enigmatic Loreweaver Family, known for their tiefling heritage and an array of purple-hued skin tones. The Loreweaver Lavender, distinct from common lavender, holds tales and ancient wisdom, unlocking forgotten stories and recollections. The Loreweavers are feared and respected for their insatiable thirst for power and their willingness to explore forbidden magics. The Lavender Lowlands border the Court of Flowers, a section of the Petaled Peaks, Flowered Fields, and the Wildflower Woodlands.
Finally, the Hollowthorn Highlands, in the southernmost reaches of the kingdom, are a region characterized by lush jungle highlands, ruled by the ancient lineage of Dragonborn, the Hollowthorn Family.
