Landscape gradually changes into a vineyard, 5 workers are spotted, ground starts to rumble, until a herd of Elk go running past
1 worker survived, Rhyke successfully ran away to safety, Juni grabbed Ink on the broom and they went up to hover above, Musky conjured the Saberwing again, grabbed Ithy and got out of the frey, Fin and Zoda managed to lead 2 horses safely, cart gets flipped and crushed, Thad uses the sword to sprout wings and fly to safety, 2 remaining horses run try to jump to lower level, 1 landed successfully, other is injured, 2nd cart is destroyed, Bews wild shaped in an albino death weasel
Vineyard was decimated, approximately 300 elk stampeded through, Ink heals the injured horse, Rhyke attempts to make a sled by setting a tree on fire and getting Thad to hit it with his sword, Ithy puts the fire out using Ray of Frost,
Utilizing the 4 horses, Juni on her broom, Musky’s saberwing and Bews’ ADW form the party continues forward
About 45 min later, came across a group of about 30 workers yelling and arguing with their boss (Varis Stormweaver) on a horse and we confront him about causing the elk to stampede, small scuffle ensues, Varis gets hit a couple times and faints in fear from ADW, Juni loots a ceremonial dagger, 13 P, 17 G, 12 S, small badge (field supervisor) and a locket with a picture of himself
The land belongs to Lysander Vineshade
3 major wine families are Thornbarrel, Vineshade and Dewleaf; rival families that have been feuding for centuries, 3 families own everything in the town
Vineshade has never had elk in the vineyards previously, some of the workers are unsure if crop recovery is possible, Vineshade’s son Thalion passed away last year mysteriously - Elria Thornbarrel or Alrich Dewleaf are suspected but there is no evidence,
Vineshade is gravely ill
Tied up Stormweaver, and headed up to the house
