Spirit

The spirit is the consciousness of something, it is the mind, the will and the emotions of a being. All sentient entities have a spirit, it is the repository of a mortal's mind. For mortals and biological creatures, usually the spirit is run by the physical body, however, in the event the being possesses an Eternal soul the truth of the matter is that the spirit is shaped by the body but originates from the Soul, that is not to say that other sentient entities does not have a spirit, however, their spirit lacks the innate potentiality to exist beyond the body's death.
