Moradin, the All-father

Moradin, also known to the dwarves as the All-father, is the head of the dwarven pantheon. revered as the creator of all dwarves, Moradin focuses on community, family, craft and creation. He is patron of almost all dwarves and even some non-dwarven craftsmen, blacksmiths and artisans. It is said that Moradin was created from rock, metal and fire deep below the surface, there he created a mighty forge, Hammerdeep, and forged the dwarven gods and the dwarves themselves in his image.

Appearance

By his devout worshipers, Moradin is often depicted as a dwarf-like figure clad in thick bronze coloured armour covered in gems, the only gap left to allow his long white beard to flow out. He is shown to have immense strength, hunched over his followers protecting them from the dark depths of the world below.    

Followers

While pretty much all dwarves worship Moradin to some degree, his most devout followers either spend their life honing their abilities, be it smithing, masonry, woodwork, engineering or any other craft, or serve as skilled warriors or wise advisors to powerful dwarven heroes or kings.
Many dwarven heroes, renowned smiths and great kings of legend and myth were followers of Moradin.
