Pelor, the Brightfather

Pelor, the Brightfather, is one of the most widely worshiped deities on the continent. God of the sun, agriculture and time, Pelor is patron of many citizens in the empire, with his commandments and followers offering to help the weak and the innocent.
Commandments of the Brightfather
  • Help to end the suffering of innocent peoples wherever it exists.
  • Deliver Pelor's light wherever darkness dwells, fill the world with kindness and compassion so there is no space left for evil.
  • Be watchful against evil, do not forget the lessons the past has taught, do not forget the history of your people.

Appearance

Pelor is depicted either as an old but wise and regal figure, with long grey hair and golden robes, or, usually in times of strife, as a figure clad in golden armour, with bright light shining like the sun where his head should be. He is shown to be stern, but calm and just, and welcoming to those who prove themselves to be good at heart.

Worshipers

Most are not devout enough to spend their life dedicated to a god, taking up an oath in their name and swearing to protect the innocent, but nonetheless, Pelor is widely worshiped, as he appeals to a large amount of people, either who want their own suffering to end, or just pray for a good year and a good harvest.
