Ankishar

It is spoken that the gods were once other worlds; worlds with wild monstrosities and maddening structures. Eventually, these worlds fell to ruin and decay, as all things do, and must. Eventually, these worlds' Spirits coalesced into the forms we know them as now, and drifted through existence until they found each other. They spoke to one another and decided to join together, like the gods that inhabited them. With them, they brought the vestiges of power that was once wielded upon them; they used that power to search for a world like and unlike them: ruined and lost, but without thought and form. After eons of traveling, they found the ruins of what would soon become our own world. They used their powers to rebuild the world, each taking a different component and task to focus on; in doing so, they also strengthened their powers of that aspect. Taking upon the name of The Supreme Order, these World Spirits became the Gods of this new world, which they name...Ankishar.
