Galactic Standard Calendar

The Galactic Standard Calendar (GSC) or Galactic Standard Time (GST) was created during the First Galactic Convention as a collaborative effort between the participating nations to standardize their differing calendars. It was decided to pin the date to Lavus Primus in the Lav system, as it has an extremely stable star and orbital period. The Calendar is separated into 12 months, with roughly 30 days per month although it alternates between 30, 31, and 28 for Fluorinar (This was insisted by the T'Kiri Imperium, to fit with some of their religious holidays).
