Ordon System

The system itself has a single K-Class Star, surrounded by 5 terrestrial planets and 1 gas giant. Ordon III, a scorching desert planet, is home to a large population of Saathids and some Cirrulen whose economy is largely based upon harvesting rare crystals and gases from beneath the dunes.
Ordon VI, however, is the most prominent colony in the system. The planet was once an ocean world in its early history, but now it is covered completely by ice sheets that stretch miles into the water. Despite the hostile conditions, this planet was a large population center and economic hub in the region prior to the Ordonian Intervention War. Although mostly Saathid as well, a large minority of Humans also call Ordon VI home, which is one of the major sources for the outbreak of the war.
