Nocluin Alliance

The Nocluin Alliance is a newly established country and unofficial fourth superpower.

History

The NA was originally controlled by the Jordeinne and the Dourish like it's northern neighbour the Territories of Holiest-Laure. However after a plague wiped out the remaining indigenous peoples, some opportunistic sons of liberty claimed the abandoned land for themselves, claiming themselves independent from their homelands and starting a new nation. So far attempts to reclaim the lost colonies have been unsuccessful.
After the official forming of the alliance, the Abandoners turned their attentions to their northern neighbour, the under-siege Territories of Laure. The NA had thought to swipe in while the Feihn were weakened and claim the north for themselves, however the Feihn have so far held the line, even when assaulted on three sides.
Before the unification of the various colonies, the disparate groups were at the brink of war. However one person rose to the forefront to bring them under one banner, and that person was Selestine Robin. A former prostitute and madame, Robin came to prominence by utilizing the money she'd earned as the mayor of her hometown Far Berinser on the west coast to organize a militia that in time grew to encompass the entire west coast and much of the central mainland. As such, when the threat of Dourish and Ibeadour recapture was at the forefront of everyone's mind, the rest of the country followed suit under her. As such, she became the first Commander in Chief of the Nocluin Alliance.
